Biofiltration
Odor Abatement
The MONASHELL® Biofiltration Odor
Control System is a sustainable, low
maintenance and low operating cost
alternative to traditional carbon or
chemical scrubbing. The reuse of waste
shells as media maintains a neutral pH,
allowing for biological treatment of odorous sulfur compounds without
the use of chemicals. Bord na Mona Environmental Products U.S.

RTO
In addition to destroying a wide variety of
air toxins, the Anguil 3-Can RTO can eliminate odorous emissions such as mercap-tons and other organic sulfides. It can
ensure emission and odor destruction up to
99.5% with an energy efficient operation.

Ammonia Removal
Puracarb® AM dry-scrubbing media effectively removes ammonia (NH3)
along with several types of amines and other
basic compounds from various commercial,
industrial, and wastewater applications. It has UL
900 Class 1 rating for flammability. Purafil Inc.,

Radial Odor Control
The HAWK Radial Odor Control System™ removes
H2S and other compounds from municipal wastewater applications. The radial flow design reduces
pressure drop, footprint, media fluidization and overall operating costs. The HAWK can incorporate a wide
variety of medias and is available in sizes from 200 to
30,000 cfm. Higher flow rate systems are also available. Bay Products Inc., 800/429-0150

Oxygenation
ECO2 SuperOxygenation Technology is used to dissolve pure oxygen in water to raise its dissolved oxygen (D.O.) level. This prevents anaerobic conditions
and consequentially, the formation of odors and corrosive H2S gas. The ECO2 System dissolves pure
oxygen at > 90% absorption efficiency into wastewater under pressure to achieve D.O. concentration
of 50 to > 150 mg/L. ECO2 Technology, 317/706-

Biofilters
Envirogen biofilters use naturally occurring microorganisms to treat air containing odorous substances.
The following products are available: Built-in-Place
(BIP) Biofilter Systems, for larger air flow rate applications; Modular Package Biofilters, for small air flow
rate applications; and Bioscrubber Towers, for space-limited applications. Basin Water, 888/481-6811

Odor Emission Control
The IPEX Vortex Flow Insert (VFI) eliminates odorous emissions and minimizes corrosion in vertical
sewer drops. The Vortex drop height can be 5 ft. or
more than 100 ft. Every VFI is custom designed
and built, has no moving parts and requires no
maintenance. IPEX, 800/463-9572

Structured RTO Packing
FLEXERAMIC® ceramic structured packing is engineered to resist siloxane clogging and maximize RTO
uptime. It is composed of corrugated ceramic sheets
that are vertically aligned in the RTO bed, eliminating
any horizontal surfaces that may create resistance to
vapor flow. Koch Knight LLC, 330/488-1651
