Sulfur Emissions Analysis
Originally introduced as a two-analyzer system, the
Thermo Scientific SOLA II Flare has been redesigned as a
single analyzer system for continuous monitoring of sulfur emissions,
allowing refineries to accurately
meet the new Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) sulfur emission regulations. It offers a dynamic
measurement range of 10 ppm to
95 percent of volume, enabling
determination of the exact amount
of sulfur emitted as well as the duration of the flaring event. — Thermo

Emissions Monitor
The PulsePro EC™ emissions monitor and baghouse controller provides the ability to remotely monitor relative
concentration or
mass concentrations
of dust emissions
from baghouses in
real time. One controller, with its built-in
IP address, can be
accessed from any
computer to monitor
multiple baghouses
and change operat-
ting setpoints. The
controller can identify the specific row of bags which is
leaking, to minimize maintenance cost and downtime.

The portable GreenLine 8000 is built with the
same characteristics as a CEM system and is a
temporary replacement when CEM systems
are non-operational
or for monitoring
emissions in multiple
locations. Features
of the GreenLine
8000 include low and
true NOx, built-in
peltier chiller with
automatic condensate removal, heated sample line, and real-time PC software. — E Instruments Group,

Fixed Monitoring System
The Jerome® 651 fixed monitoring system provides long-term, unattended environmental
monitoring of mercury or hydrogen
sulfide levels for
indoor or outdoor
applications. For
large sites, multiple
units can be linked
to form a compre-
hensive perimeter or facility monitoring system.
In addition, with its built-in customizable software, data logging and radio telemetry capabilities, the Jerome® fixed monitoring system
provides the convenience and ease of downloading test data remotely, and even providing key personnel with electronic notifications
of event alerts. — Arizona Instrument LLC,

Mercury Emissions Samplers
Mercury emissions samplers are designed for
continuous sampling of
mercury emissions from
coal-fired sources as
specified in Appendix K of
Part 75 and Method 30B.
Proportional flow control
is achieved based on
CEM flow monitor or an
installed pitot. Appendix K
automated samplers may be connected to a
plant network through wi-fi or direct connection for remote program control and data
access. Complete systems include a dual modular probe assembly, dual heated sample line,
dual condenser and connecting umbilical. —

Particulate Monitoring
Altech Environment U.S.A.’s line of analyzers
for process control and compliance now
includes the BETA 5M for PM monitoring. This
compact, low maintenance, field-proven system provides real-time measurement of PM
from stationary sources. The BETA 5M uses iso-kinetic sampling to deposit mass on a filter
tape and it is measured by beta ray attenuation. The product line also includes an FTUV
NH analyzer for accurate measurement of

Vibration Monitor
The Balmac Model 191 Series is a heavy-duty
vibration transmitter used to monitor oil and
gas production pumps,
compressors, fans and
motors. The 191 transmitter is a two-wire, loop
powered sensor that provides a 4-20 mA output
signal that is proportional
to vibration amplitude.
Powered by a 12-24V DC
source, the output wire
can be connected to any existing PLC,
SCADA or DCS system. — Balmac Inc.,
