Thomas Pump’s Port Orange manufacturing facility has achieved ISO 9001 quality certifi- cation.
KZValve announced that their KZValve EH3/EH2 and EH5 series of actuators meet the IP X8 rating of the ISO 60529 Standard (Protection Against Water Intrusion Test) and also meet the Ignition Protection Test require- ments of ISO 8846, the USCG, stated in Title 33 CFR 183.410 and the SAE J1171 Standard. The procedures used to accomplish these results are acceptable to the European Community and the United States Coast Guard respectively. KZValve actuators are also NEMA 6P rated.

Severn Trent Services has acquired P.S. Apliclor S.A., a supplier of water and waste- water solutions based in Barcelona, Spain. The acquisition is part of Severn Trent Services’ plan to significantly grow its business in Europe. At the same time Severn Trent Services company announced the appoint- ments of a general manager for the P.S. Apliclor Division as well as a sales manager and financial controller for Spain.
