Koch Membrance Systems Inc has been selected to provide a seawater reverse osmosis system for Minera Esperanza’s copper-gold mine, at Michilla Port Chile.
Dow Water & Process Solution’s filter medi- um adsorbsia has been used in several water treatment systems supplied by Gecom Inc to the Village of Oak Creek near Sedona, AZ. The Village of Oak Creek which supplies 8,000 resi- dents with drinking water has announced a 60% decrease in arsenic levels in the drinking water since using these systems.
Siemens Water Technologies has commis- sioned an on-site mobile treatment equipment and services for a major oil company’s site in the Western United States. The system consist- ing of on-site mobile equipment and services recycles flowback water through the treatment process to provide a source of “Frac” water for reuse.
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., announced that L.A. Falcão Bauer CTCQ Ltda (Falcão Bauer), a South American provider of services for instrument calibration and quality control, has selected SampleManager LIMS (laboratory information management system) for use in its laboratories in Brazil. The new project is the largest LIMS contract for Thermo Fisher Scientific in Brazil to date.
