Augers for Soil Samples
AMS, Inc. has teamed up with Eijkelkamp to create the new line of AMS
edelman augers. These augers feature Eijkelkamp’s quality edelman
auger bodies combined with the versatility of AMS 5/8” threaded, signature series, and quick connection systems. Edelman augers are used for
the study of soil composition, profile, and soil mapping. A screw-like point
at the lower end of the auger body enters into the soil as you simultaneously push and turn the auger clockwise. The soil sample is guided into
the auger body by the two vaulted vertical cutting blades. The vaulted
design not only promotes soil digging, but also ensures a firm hold of the
sample in the auger. All edelman augers utilize drilling bits made from untreated steel to

Chemical Storage Lockers
The company’s line of Chemical Storage Lockers has met the new
FM Approval Standards (Class 6049). Constructed of durable,
heavy-gauge welded steel, with an upgraded structural framework and a strong anchoring system, they are available for both
90 and 150 mph wind zones. The lockers provide secured, remote
storage and processing of smaller volumes of chemicals ( 2-14

Tamper-Proof Flow Meter
The multi-parameter PWE Enhanced Digital Paddle Wheel Flow
Meters provide password-protected access to process parameters,
thus eliminating user-tampering or re-setting. PWE supports two independently programmable flow totalizers, self-diagnostic alarm, flow

Detector Tubes for Chloroform
Two new detector tubes have been introduced; Chloroform 137LA
which measures 0.3 - 4. 5 ppm and the Chloroform 137LL that measures 0.5 - 30 ppm. With the ACGIH TLV-TWA set at 10 ppm, Gastec
tubes indicate worker exposure concentrations relative to the TLV’s
in approximately 4 minutes using 2 pump strokes with the Gastec

Collapsible Portable Tank

Scrubber
