Eckoustic® Panel Systems
efficiently & economically improve
the acoustic environment
of water & wastewater treatment facilities.
ECKOUSTIC FUNCTIONAL PANELS (EFPs) – an effective,
practical method for reducing background noise and reverberation. No need to relocate existing utilities. Easy to install and
maintain. Ideal for adding needed sound absorption to compressor
rooms, blower rooms, operator and administration areas.
ECKOUSTIC MODULAR PANELS (EMPs) – pre-engineered,
4” thick, 41 and 44 STC panels for isolating personnel from noisy
equipment/machinery. Versatile. Specially designed for constructing
free-standing enclosures and walls. Demountable.

Gas Shutoff System
The new Hexacon Model III control system has an optional programmable Relay Interface Module and SCADA informational output to provide active and timely notifications. The optional second
battery provides for quicker and more reliable valve closures. The
microprocessor system applies a torque of 30 foot-pounds or 50
foot-pounds for test or emergency valve closures for up to six cylinder and ton
container valves. — Halogen Valve Systems Inc., 877/476-4222,

Dry Pump Protection
A non-intrusive in-line flange design makes the 2852-DPM ideal
for thick slurries and applications where automatic pump shutdown during a dry condition is critical for preventative maintenance. Pipe sizes from 2" to 8" are standard and materials can
be CPVC, PVDF, or Nylon. Plate style sensors for direct mounting
on the pump body are also available. — Arjay Engineering Ltd., 905/829-2418,

Metering Pump
The company’s Metering Pump is available in bare shaft, close-coupled and motorized configurations. The bare shaft configuration is for applications requiring a separate drive. The close-cou-pled configuration offers a variety of drive options. The motorized configuration is a compact model accompanied with AC
and DC variable speed drives. All models are capable of handling a wide variety of fluids from clean, clear liquids to shear sensitive and viscous
fluids as well as abrasive, corrosive materials. — Moyno Inc., 877/486-6966

All-Plastic Control Valve
The 2" flanged plastic control valve Model 2060 features a body
of either PVDF or polypropylene and an actuator/yoke of glass-filled polypropylene. The valve handles fluids including
hydrochloric acid, caustic, sulfuric acid, and many others that would ordinarily
require an exotic alloy metal valve. The 2060 is available with trim sizes up to
Cv = 38. — Collins Instrument Company, 979/849-8266, www.collinsinst.com

Detector Tubes for Sulfide Ion in Solution
The Gastec Sulfide Ion in Solution Detector Tube No. 211 provides a
method for detecting sulfide ion levels in solution. The direct-reading
tube produces a quantitative color-stain that quickly pinpoints problem areas in 2 to 3 minutes. The calibration scale, printed directly on
each tube, provides on-the-spot results that are easy to read. The
detector tubes are available in four different ranges for more specific measuring,
with a total range of 0.5 to 1000 ppm. With Gastec’s sulfide ion tube, no mixing of
chemicals is required. — Nextteq, 877/312-2333, www.nextteq.com
